Pauline Coccoz of Santa Maria, a 45-year-old unemployed, former supermarket worker, mother of three.


Juror Pauline Coccoz, 45, of Santa Maria, said on Monday that she was put off by the testimony from the accuser's mother and questioned her parenting choices.


"We all had to remind ourselves that we had a closetful of evidence that made us come back to the same thing: that it was not enough," said Pauline Coccoz.


PAULINE COCCOZ, JACKSON JUROR #10: We expected, probably, better evidence, you know, something that was a little more convincing. And it just wasn‘t there.

PAULINE COCCOZ, JACKSON JUROR #10: What mother in her right mind would allow that to happen? You know, just freely volunteer your child, you know, to sleep with someone, and not just so much Michael Jackson, but any person for that matter?
