Terri's brain was functioning well enough for her to breathe on her own, sleep and wake just like the rest of us, etc. And Terri's family believes Terri responded - actually there's proof of that. It makes my skin crawl that they said Terri was blind as if that was just another good reason to bump her off.
The autopsy report is just a bunch of mumbo jumbo. Terri was killed and that's the bottom line. She was healthy and 13 days later she was dead. It's a horrific event. I still can't believe it happened. And now the death-to-Terri crowd just can't stop gloating and celebrating. It gives me the creeps.

I do not believe there is a "death to Terri" crowd on this forum, and no one is celebrating that I have seen. It was and is a tragedy and everyone acknowledges that in these discussions. But there are facts involved and perhaps emotions have clouded a perception of reality at times. And a conspiracy that involves so many? It just does not seem likely, Saundra. But your sincere concern and devotion for this lady have always been touching.
Ignore them, Saundra. I know from your posts how much this case affected you and I pray that you can find some peace.
I second Bonnie's statement about your sincere concern for Terri....that has always been evident. I apologize for those that mock you, make fun of you, etc.....I do think some of them are pro-death and would tell me to starve my grandma (who has alzheimers) in a minute. Of course none of them would say it publicly on this board.
I hope knowing that Terri is with God now does bring you some comfort.

What exactly does "healthy" mean in your universe? In mine, people with half their brain left, blind, unable to swallow, speak, with their limbs contorted and twisted, aren't healthy.
THURSDAY AFTERNOON - BREAKING NEWS: I think the Republican Party is trying to do something proper (too bad they waited until Terri was gone) but nonetheless, Governor Jeb Bush today held a press conference wherein he announced that he is asking State Attorney Bernie McCabe to investigate why it took so long for Michael Schiavo to get help for Terri while she was lying on the floor in the collapse. It was on local television.
