Too bad he`s a Republican. If he was a democrat he would be elected President twice and be called the greatest President that ever was.

Suprise; he's a Republican who campaigned on "family values".

No, he`s a Repub. If he was a dim-o-rat he would be touted as a candidate for President.

Sherwood, who is married and has three daughters, struck Ore on her face and body with a closed fist while she attempted to sleep and he began "violently choking her." "This unprovoked, cowardly, brutal and vicious attack occurred without warning," the suit states. "As a result of this violent assault, the plaintiff suffered substantial physical and emotional injuries."Uh huh. And then she decided to stay with him after this occurred.
She's either outright lying, or she's some sort of sicko.

Lot's of women stay in abusive relationships...this has been established for a pretty long time.
As to whether the charges are true, I do not know.
But, if this guy even KNOWS this floozy, that makes him guilty enough for me.

You must've missed all those articles and columns explaining that this was just about sex, so it isn't a big deal. Didn't you? ;-)

Republicans are politicians too. What a scumbag. Even if this chick is lying he was still having some sort of affair with her.

She is seeking $5.5 million for a five year abusive relationship.
Here's what I don't understand--why not let it continue for another 5 years and then get $10 million? It looks like a nice rate of return to me.

I wonder if I can sue all those congressmen who have abused my billfold?

I'm still laughing at the title of the thread:
"Woman alleges congressman abused her in $5.5 million lawsuit"
Looking at her picture, I'd say that the pricetag of $5.5M for that suit of hers is as bogus as her claim to be 29. That's a cheap suit. ...but then I guess it could have been the congressman who was in that horribly expensive suit when he abused her. That would be criminal: Where'd a congressman get $5.5M to spend on one suit?
:-p
(Yes, I know: I carried that silly little joke too far. So abuse me in a lawsuit!)

Medical records should be easy enough to get. Maybe not; this is in D.C., not Florida...

Being a Repub just makes him guilty BEFORE the trial. Now if he were a Dum, this woman would be a lying, sluttie, B***h.
