The stuff Ion Mihai Pacepa writes is very unsettling. He is well known in a limited circle, but his revelations worth much bigger attention. I did not see him being proved liar, I did not see debunking of his analysis. He is just mostly ignored by MSM.

I understand, he writes about stuff that was secret and is hard to undeniably verify (or disprove). I tend to trust his judgment because what he writes fits nicely with my personal knowledge of the working of the Soviet system; and in the case of this article is actually observable truth.
