What's the big thing with Cantwell "decrease for dependency on foreign oil" proposal? IIRC that's what "W" asked them to do in his SOU address.

Cantwell has introduced a bill that would require a revision of the testing used in establishing the mpg on new vehicles. She says the testing method is out of date and results in inflated mileage estimates, particularly on hybrid vehicles. She's right, but the suggestion would result in lots of problems for Detroit.
