When I was a kid, we were taught that one NEVER, EVER, EVER--NOT EVER--cuts up a National Geographic. Now, I regularly rip 'em apart to use the pictures. I buy 'em at Goodwill for the specific purpose of "editing" them for my own use.
I notice that there are a lot of N.G.'s on sale at garage sales, often for ten cents each. If there are maps or pix you need, only the homeowner would make the money, not the liberal N.G. people.
But perhaps you already knew that.
