SYDNEY (AFP) - China is using a vast network of spies in an attempt to turn Australia into a "political colony," a defector said, as it was revealed Beijing officials had been allowed to interrogate Chinese held in Australian detention centres.
Former Beijing University professor Yuan Hongbing, the fourth Chinese defector to surface in Australia in the past month, supported charges by a rebel Chinese diplomat that Beijing had an extensive network of agents in the country.
The agents are targeting Chinese dissidents and are also being used to influence political thought "to turn Australia into a political colony of China," Yuan told ABC radio.
"Political colony means the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) will use their ideology to influence Australia's politics and gradually to turn Australia to betray its fundamental principles of freedom and democracy," Yuan said through an interpretde.

Chengdu. Check out his homepage (which includes a link to his blog).
you are right that it is a fascist model but said model is a capitalistic/socialistic approach. Therefore ChiComms are not communists anymore by any real sense of the term. They are more like Mussolinis fascists than anything else at this point that just use commie rhetoric to fire up the masses. I really do hope that Beijing collapses under its own weight - i dont trust them
"06-21-05 Roll Call For Typepad Sites
Asiapundit has confirmed my initial concerns of censorship on some of the Typepad sites that I listed earlier.
If you're in China, Asiapundit is asking for a headcount from those who are able to view his blog. If you can't, please leave a comment here on this post. (What province are you posting from)
Thanks."

What's going on in the China blogosphere?
I noticed that several of the China blogs listed in my RSS reader haven't been responding to update requests for the past few hours and when I clicked to open their sites from the links on my blog, I received the same response from each of them: This page cannot be displayed.
So far it looks like Asiapundit, Myrick, Glutter, Simon World and The Asia pages have all been rendered inaccessible from my location. They are still up and running though because I can view them through a proxy browser, but otherwise I can not.
What's up with that?"
Have you noticed this character conserv13 has bugged out of the thread?
They have all but, finished ther mission in the USSA.

Well THEN!
Are you living in an alternate universe or something?

Know the enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles you will never be in peril. When you are ignorant of the enemy, but know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal. If ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain in every battle to be in peril."
The Chi-Coms aren't commies? ~ unlock your lips from the opium pipe and open your eyes. *sigh*
Simple totalitarianism isn't bad enough, eh?
See the following:
Gao Rongrong, a persecuted FLG member, has become the latest addition of many skeletons hiding in the CCP's closet.
Gao was an accountant at the Luxun College of Fine Arts in Shenyang City who was detained and imprisoned by Chinese authorities in June of 2003 for her religious beliefs and ties to the FLG. After nearly two years of imprisonment, hard labor and brainwashing, Gao was reported to have been tortured to death by her captors four days ago.
NEW YORK – AP-The grossly disfigured face of 37-year-old Ms. Gao Rongrong, the result of torture by Chinese authorities, was publicized around the world to the alarm of many. But it wasn't enough, sources revealed yesterday, to save Gao from being tortured to death by Chinese Communist Party officials.
FDI (FD Information Center) has learned that Gao died just four days ago. Her death follows nearly two years of incarceration, brainwashing, and torture for her beliefs. Gao died in the emergency room of China Medical University Hospital of complications stemming from torture and abuse in custody.
Here is a photo of Gao Rongrong before she was detained by Chinese authorities.

Unfortunately, that's what 'Freedom of Religion' looks like in China.
Some places in China are still rural and backwards but there are other places that are just as modern as any major city in the US.
