Have the results of brainscan testing showed negative activity? Being braindead isn't the sole criterion of death anymore, of course, but if he is terminal anyway, why go to the expense of medical care with the $EU and the Airbus getting into such dire straits?

Because they do not want to destroy the DNA for future investigations. Today we just need some 15 -20 cells, in a few years time we just need around 5.

a 5,000-year-old mummy frozen in the Italian Alps might have been contaminated by compassionate conservativism,
say anxious liberals, "It must be destroyed to stop the
contagion before it spreads to the lower classes."

And the most interesting fact about Oetzi: he's missing his male organ. It fell off in transit.

And the most interesting fact about Oetzi: he's missing his male organ. It fell off in transit. Not surprising. The way he was marauding through the Alps, picking fights, he must have always been going off half cocked.
To: ken21
Good idea probably. Worth looking into. I can't believe it would harm the body or inhibit study of the remains. Of course, Oetzi would have to be sealed in a container, then irradiated, then left alone. That would probably inhibit study. ;') I seem to recall that, when the body was found, some souvenir hound tried to pull off the fur coat, which damaged the body.
