Whenever I see this kind of PC nonsense coming out of New England I have to wonder what happened. VT elected their first Democrat governor EVER in the mid sixties. Before that all of the northeast (with the exception of Boston) was a hotbed of Republicanism and common sense. The John Birch society was headquartered just outside of Boston and one of their founding members owned the Worcester Telegram and the major radio station in Worcester.

Massachusetts was the center of the American Revolution. Sam Adams was beating up tax collectors and tossing tea into the harbor (there were no laws against getting fish hooked on caffeine then).

I think that as society has shifted away from the land and the people have not needed a connection with how their food is produced or the reliance on nature and nature's God for their very existence's they get stupid. This would explain why the blue counties are the most urbanized counties.

The solution: Take everybody who lives in those densely populated areas and put them in the middle of the mountains by themselves and make them live off the land for a couple of years before we let them back into society. Alternately we could just fence off the cities and let them kill each other off.

We have gone from being the "home of the brave" to being the "home of the wimps" who are intimidated by by any bully that access a microphone and an audience. Did they change their mascot to a chicken?
