Great thread. I ride my old '87 BMW K100LT (75K showing) and no, I ain't got no bike trailer, either!

Where'd the other half of your '72 Eldorado get to? =]

With a bike like this, I'd wear sunglasses at night.

OK, just got back from my morning scoot, terrorizing the county. It's so hot right now my bunions roasted in my boots, ny dew-rag melted into my head, my skivies are chafing and the street bums are cooking eggs on a steel plate heated by the sun.

So naturally I had a coffee and a bagel. Came home, stipped down to my socks and belly flopped into the pool.

Life is good. :-)

I've thought about a canned-air horn on the handlebar for a beater bike.

I keep one on my street legal converted dirt bike. While it is loud as all get out, it's not that practical when you need it in a hurry. You can't just thumb the button but have to let go of the grip and squeeze it. Cars definitely hear it though!!

It's in the low 70's here ~ perfect riding weather. :)

Glad you were able to enjoy the pool. :)
