Now why would a God who was all-powerful enough to have created something (in fact everything) from nothing want to bother with having humans live out history to face Judgement rather than skip to the end and save a lot of time, since He knows how it will all turn out anyway? Doesn't make sense. What makes you think that 'He wants humans to live out history to face judgment'? That's not what my Bible says he wants of humans. Where did you get that idea from?

And what makes you think that God operates inside the boundaries of what we know as time?

Oh, I'm not asserting anything about the desires of the God that you worship. I'm inferring based upon what I've been told and experienced. Specifically that 1) He wants us to serve Him, 2) we will all eventually face judgement and 3) that we exist now. Since we exist now, that means that if He exists that can only mean that He wants us to eventually face judgement. Otherwise why not skip to the chase, create everything as it would be had history played out and humans faced Judgement and those who were faithful and righteous serving him, and then just not create those who would have been sentenced to eternal torment/oblivion (depending on whether or not said Christian believes in eternal damnation or simply a cessation of existence)?
