I was expecting a conviction on the misdemeanor alcohol charge or at least that the jury would hang on it. Though it should be noted if they didn't believe in the molestation charges they couldn't convict on the felony alcohol charge. I think they decided to give him the benefit of the doubt on the misdemeanor charge and aquitted him.
