That's fairly hard to use without huge infrastructure investments.I believe that a good deal of the water used by the humans in LA comes there as a result of the Hoover Dam.
We invested then, what's wrong with investing in desalinization now?

Wait a sec all you guys.....this is different..this is no normal dam....this valley was described as a twin to the Yosemite valley years ago, and actually John Muir campaigned HEAVILY against damming it up. It may have been necessary then, buy if we DON'T need it, by all means, lets take it back and make it the breathtaking place it used to be. Trust me, a little time and care, and it will be an incredible place again...and just so you guys don't take me to task...I am a hardcore republican...I just love Yosemite...the idea of getting that valley back makes my day...have a good one..
