I do have some observations on Lipton. He has a different view of cellular evolution and the primacy of the cell in the body. He sometimes thinks the environment drives evolution, but that evolution is not related to DNA but the cell membrane. There is an amount of transmigration of acquired characteristics. The body is a community of cells, the cell is the seat of intelligence and is so with or without a nervous system in the organism.
