Blind obedience doesn't make you a patriot.
It only makes you STUPID.

But the Confederate Battle Flag is an American flag, too. Are you saying you have contempt for both sides in that war?

I suggest you get a real history book and stop listening to the propaganda spewed by the NAACP. Those who fly the standard of the Confederate army are often those who fly the Stars and Stripes the highest. Many might suggest that those who want to fly the stars and bars to get a real history book and fly the last flag authorized by the Confederacy. The one with the White background, the stars and bars in the corner and the blue vertical strip on the right side, but I doubt if there is too many interested in historical accuracy

If anyone is being PC, it is YOU, sir.

Wow, now I'm a suspect because I don't kiss up to the FR-PC crowd. What nonsense. You chose to post on this thread and stir up hostility, and now you're claiming to be a victim. Make like a tree, and leave, already.

You know I like your sig. KInda make me think.
Instead of giving checks for welfare they should give land in New Mexico or Arizona!

Quote from a Steve Earle song ... I always figured it was about Oklahoma.
Speaking of which, it would be very hard to grow food in New Mexico or Arizona, but there's plenty of space in Oklahoma, Missouri, and places like that. My Dad says that 5 or 6 families used to live on the 550 acres he owns in Missouri.

Well, I guess if that group in St.Augustine can hang all those
rainbow flags on the Bridge of Lions..(taxpayer paid, I might add)...
..we can have our Confederate Flag (& it's on private property!)

What's being lost in the shuffle is that the flag causing Pavlovian reaction was the Confederate battle flag which flew over a magnificent army for four years with only minimal reference to slavery. If you super yankees want to attack slavery, try the Brits (1619-1776), the Americans(1776-1865). Follow that up with a consideration of Democrat imposed apartheid and Jim Crow (post civil war to the 1960's) Makes the Confederate battle flag problem seem minor.

Hey, I grew up in the South. Born in Tallahassee 1952, lived in Orlando, Montgomery. I was only out of the South for 2 years before 4th grade. Moved all over because my Dad was in the Air Force.
I am not a moral relativist. What's wrong is wrong.
I had to put up with years and years of school bussing out of my neighborhood for racial reasons. My local school was a "separate but equal" black school - a piece of junk. My school district bussed me past it to a nice white school every day for 2 years.
So I'm not a big fan of the Confederacy OR its aftermath.

I guess I'm just against glorifying traitors. Silly me.Traitors to the government like George Washington, Hancock, and Lightfoot Lee 80 yrs earlier?
Robt E Lee is only a "traitor" to you because he lost his cause.

Who said anything about historical accuracy. It's about Freedom.

Bring me your Confederate flags and I will exercise my bladder on them. And on another thread you glorify your theft of Confederate items and your s****** on them. A Doctor (think shrink) could help you with your perversions/mental problems.
