The Dutch experts arrived at Aruba on Sunday. The local chief of the search team of police in The Netherlands, Jan van der Straten, confirmed this report on Sunday.
Mr. Van der Straten did not go into details about the type of experts that were sent. He only informed that the experts that were sent did not go with search dogs and that they were going to carry out specific detailed operations.
Van der Straten told the press that he was not going to disclose specified information, because this would obviously lead to (justified) assumptions of the direction the investigation is heading in. He said: "I cannot say more, otherwise it will be clear in which direction the investigation is going".
