A sizeable portion of Sunnis, if not a majority support the TNA and the government building process. They're just slower at coming around; which is understandable considering their former status under Saddam. They're starting to look towards the future; perhaps they now realize that without much oil in central Iraq a national government is all they can hope for.

I agree.

I don't think it's fair to completely criticize politicians. At the end of the day they are responding to concerns of their constituents.

But when they start asking for withdrawal timetables they come across as bratty kids in the back seat of the family station wagon on a long trip. I would hate to be stuck in a lifeboat with any of them.
