Things like this really embolden they fundamentalist muslims overseas who use information like this to claim that Islam is winning.

Please post some examples. We can show them to the Liberals.

Somalis.

Doesnt anyone remember than Bin Laden himself said American's withdrawl (read defeat) inspired him to think he could get away with 9-11.

Ill ask anony again, if withdrawl and defeat in Somalia, inspired 9-11, what would withdrawl from Iraq inspire?

IIRC, this sort of thing is shown on Al Jezeera, and it does seem to encourage the bad guys, just as the anti-war protests in the US encouraged the enemies of the US during the 1970s. I believe it was General Giap who said in his memoirs (paraphrased) that they could never have defeated the US on the battlefield, but they were able to defeat the US back at home, using the protestors and the media, and turning the public against the war. And it seems that the media longs for the power of changing US foreign policy again, in supporting the enemies of the US.
