"In fact," he said, "if you did that for American GI's - if you had a call to prayer five times a day - the ACLU would sue on the basis that we violated the separation between church and state."<p. Yep, that's my question to.

"For Sunday they're going to be having Orange Glazed Chicken, Fresh Fruit Roupee, Steamed Peas and Mushrooms, Rice Pilaf" Nice. .....terrorists eating better than I am. ....on my dime.
How about a diet of Spam until we've extracted all the intel we can. .....and then finish them off with a Strasbourg-type testing of ammo.

From Solzhenitsyn's
The Gulag Archipelago: Sometimes the entire body of a man dying of starvation is covered with blue-black pimples like peas, with pus-filled heads smaller than a pinhead -- his face, arms, legs, his trunk, even his scrotum. It is so painful he cannot be touched. The tiny boils come to a head and burst and a thick wormlike string of pus is forced out of them. The man is rotting alive.
If black astonished head lice are crawling on the face of your neighbor on the bunks, it is a sure sign of death.

I watched this live. When Hunter came out with the facts about the treatment of terrorists at Gitmo, the Human Rights Watch guy quickly switched to other detention facilities. We certainly can't let the facts get in the way of a good debate, can we? I sure hope GW doesn't buckle to all the hype about Gitmo and close the place.

"For Sunday they're going to be having Orange Glazed Chicken, Fresh Fruit Roupee, Steamed Peas and Mushrooms, Rice Pilaf - we treat them very well," he told Fox.Actually this is torture. You know that they realize all this will end one day. And the sincere mUsilms are going to hate to go back to where they don't have religious freedom.

We give them prayer beads and prayer oil... Do the terrorists know that greasing their johnsons with pig lard prior to committing flagrant sexual self-abuse while fantasizing about getting it on with 72 virgin goats is not authorized by the Koran?

I remember reading about the Iraqi POW's we captured during Desert Storm rejecting MRE's that contained pork in them. Then I remember reading how the first jihadis we sent to Gitmo were pigging out on Fruit Loops and saying they were better fed and treated than they were while fighting for the Taliban.
To: Kaslin
The irony is that the prisoners eat better than do most of the screechy, whiny left-wingers who are complaining about their treatment.

On the other hand, feeding the detainees MRE's, the standard fare given to our troops on the front lines, is strictly verboten - considered an "abuse" under restrictions imposed by Congress, Hunter said.
I grew up in Gitmo. We used to beg Sea Rations off the marines. They weren't gormet, but they were OK.

Ah, but liberals will insist that this is still a modern "gulag" because the terrorist roaches aren't allowed to behead Americans.
To: Kaslin
Of course this won't show up on Drudge to much to expect.
