And a Star for this description of the Slugfest on Foxnews Sunday by Morgan in Denver:

*****************************************************

Duncan Hunter, R-CA, is great. He crucified the liberal apologist and America basher. At the end the lib was trying to get agreement on something, anything, and Hunter kept repeating that certain facts have to be acknowledged as a starting point.

Seems to me there is a disconnect between these "polls" and the MSM, and what the American people are doing. Which is electing pro-Defense politicians, defeating appeasers, buying yellow ribbons for their cars and finding any way they can to send money, supplies and encouragement overseas. That sounds like a people that continue to overwhelming support our troops and this war

It's the same BS that Uncle Walter and his side kick Danger Dan did back in Vietnam .. try to lose the war through bad PR

But with the Internet, 24 hour cable and the troops being able to contact their family and friends almost daily by email or phone

The liberals are losing

Well there were other shows on the airwaves today and we award a Star to gas_dr for his ability to handle it all and deliver us a fine report so we didn't have to watch the gruesome TV fare this morning:

*******************************************

Well, here in Jacksonville, Florida, I have now watched ABC this week and Meet the press. I have got to say, I have not seen a more pathetically slanted, liberal presentation of the news in a long time.

Over on MTP, all the panel was salivating over the hard times of the president and how he wears blinders in his march toward what he believes is correct. Unlike Clinton, points out Broder, who would be in a meeting trying to see what he can to to govern by the polls. Then the whole bunch of idiots chimes in and gives advice to the president on how to run things. Odd thing is, they do not see their bias, and obviously cannot conceive that the majority of us tend to agree with who we have in the white house at the moment.

Meanwhile over on ABC, Stephenapalous is doing a hatchet job on the CEO of lending tree, while performing video fallatio on Barney Frank. It is sickening. The mainstream media in their weekly review shows today are demonstrating every thing that the new media is proving true, and making themselves more irrelevant. I have a strong stomach, nut it is too the point that I could not watch this BS anymore.

The sickest part of the day was the cannonization of St. Hillary on MTP. I suppose we should forgo the general elections, and just by acclaimation hail Ms. Clinton as the next president -- and if we know what is good for us -- appoint her for life.

And Snugsgets a Star and a big Hug for trying to give us an understanding about her locale....the damp land of the Brits......we need a lot of help.

Her tutorial follows:

*****************************************************************************

Blair is a socialist so when he talks to the US media/people he will not mention socialist policies they are irrelevant mainly in foreign policy anyway.

I do not think really of Britain being left wing orientated because we have a socialist government the majority of the people that voted for Labour probably would not know the difference.

They have believed the spin on Blair and his colleagues and voted Labour.

Blair is very effective in front of a camera if you do not see through the left wing spin. What a lot of people in the US do not realise is that Blair is far more left wing than Kerry is and as for his wife well she is almost red.

Has there been much said about Cherie Blair "fee" regarding promoting her book which part of it is on being the wife of a Prime Minister. This shows the class of the women to accept money for talking about being the Prime Ministers wife whilst he is still in office. The left is the left wherever they are and their tactics are the same.

If it is good enough for our troops, it is good enough for Gitmo.

Clinton Ignored the terrorists for 8 YEARS ..

Hint .. hint .. the 1993 WTC Bombing

Hint .. hint .. We treated the Terrorists as criminals in court and it didn't work

Clinton let China steal our nuke secrets

Clinton allowed Jim Carter make that STUPID agreement with North Korea

Clinton with the help of Maddy Halfbright came up with the Oil For Food idea

Hint .. hint .. It's now a scandel of bribes

Precisely.

So if we're to follow the same template what we need to anticipate are craven fools in the U.S. Senate and the House that may want to jump ship when we are winning because they have no principles and believe every disgusting lie whispered into their ear by this media. Then SLAM them hard. Make them bleed if they make our troops' scarifices be in vain. Make them realize we'll have no hesitation is taking them out of office if they want to be the next John Kerry or Jane Fonda.

With Vietnam the American people didn't have the means to fight back, they certainly didn't have the same resources to to the Truth. Now we do.

I make this warning shot to the cowards, the appeasers, the fools that claim to represent us in the Legislature. Don't even think about taking a victory and making it a defeat. We'll know who to blame and it won't be this President. It won't be our troops. It won't even be the terrorists. It'll be the glorified suits in washington that don't have the stomach to sit where our Founding fathers once did. It'll be the MSM that lied about this war and support for it. And we'll take it out on both of you.

And a Star for another Great comment in defense of our President, President Bush ....this comes from Justanobody

*************************************************************

Critics have railed against his handling of Iraq, his perceived disdain for the United Nations and what they say is a swaggering approach to foreign policy. But Bush probably would not want to trade places with any other head of state.

That was a great article. (I love his swagger, whether physical or an intellectual approach) BTW, did you see the poll they took in Iran? If President Bush ran for president there, he would win with 75% of the vote, iirc.

I know---I was wanting to wait at the border and form a line across the highway so their bus couldn't get over...

Of course, they would have just gotten private planes to come for them...

I was shocked that there wasn't more made of it nationally..I was embarressed for them...

Of course, they blamed it all on Tom Delay, but he was just doing his job, well---and they hate that!

And we need to keep the video of Sensenbrenner's hearing on Friday, when he wouldn't let the dems get away with their usual propaganda show and tell!!!

Senator Lugar, were you watching???

BTW, the measly appearance by Sen. Hagel is mostly due to his fealty to his best bud, Joe Biden...there is NO WAY he could make a good president...just like McCain...no party loyalty...

Oh, that's an interesting poll. I had not heard that.
The downtrodden people of the world love GWB. It's the world's elites who hate him.

It may have been on the "Iranian Alert" thread. Tons of information and wonderful pictures there.
You are right - we are hated around the world, just by the socialist/communist old Europe and of course, the Islamofacists.
Why, for the love of God, do we care if those gangs/thugs like us?
