Hey, all I want to know, is what Cincinnatus Wife has to say on the subject.
No doubt you are confusing me with "Cincinatus" (spelled wrong) who joined this forum after I did as "Cincinnatus" (spelled right) and whose wife, "Cincinatus' Wife" is one of the most all-time popular posters on FR. The confusion is not my fault. I was here first.

I totally agreed with Lucianne's decision even without knowing about Sydney.
The posts on FR were nasty, repetitive and useless. Nobody's opinion was changed; many people were hurt; some left altogether and in the end, what did it all accomplish.
Not a darn thing except some venting.
But that's Free Republic. Take it or leave it. One could stay off those threads and that's what I did.
I choose to take it.
But I always go to Lucianne's site first thing for her Must Reads and her clever little comments and I never understand why some people are bitter at her just because she left here and created a site more to her taste.
As I stated above, if I have a problem with people, I have a reason. I hate to have be enigmatic, but so be it. :)
Politics ain't beanbag. There have so many contentious subjects debated on the net. The 2000 election, the Elian thing, impeachment, the 2004 election. It goes on and on. Putting aside obvious troll stuff like Holocaust denial, racism, etc., grownups should be able to debate, move on, and agree to disagree.
