yes , you are right about that.
this fellow seems to be just another shake & bake moonbat
neuvo guru.
They are all a bunch of wannabees ,mostly in it for the chicks and the money .
I remember hearing about this dude, going by the name of
Buba Free John , back in the 70's . I wonder if that was pre or post 'enlightenment ' ?

This article is *such* a trip for me down memory lane. I remember when the "alternate" religions sprouted in the SF Bay Area. EST, Stephen.. (dang.. what's his name: memory not awake yet) held this HUGE event out near Pt Reyes -- all about "the bells". And of course there were workshops. I didn't go when I discovered I'd have to spend hours in "silent contemplation" listening to bells. And then the chanting. I had been raised learning a great deal about Buddhism (and other religions). But, This "American Budhist" movement was a hoot for me to witness. Everyone trying to "outdo" each other in that location -- with the latest trend: As in "I'm really cool, hep, withit... and YOU are not." Resulting from these newer "trends"... adult children were then going into conducting "Loving Divorces" from their "uptight, traditional" parents. Oh, yes.. some of those "loving divorce" letters I got to read and witness. Man, oh man...

Oh yes, all these "alternative" religions were part and parcel along with the Moonies and the Love Children. Right. "Love Children... Divorce Parents". uh-huh.
