Former President Bush stands in front of a portrait by Ron Sherr of himself and his son, current President George W. Bush. Although the caption does not say where the portrait hangs, I believe it is in the GHWB Presidential Library. It is an absolutely fabulous portrait. Gorgeous and expertly captures the character of both men. The photo was taken 13 Dec 02.

Our Dubya was nine months old in this photo with his dad.

Depending on the time of year this was taken, GWB was either approaching three or had just turned three when he went "swimming" in the wash tub, Midland, TX. circa 1949.

The future governors of Texas and Florida (and the future President of the United States), circa 1955. Depending the time of year, GWB was eight or newly turned nine -- and little Jeb didn't look especially pleased to be having his photo taken.

A dog lover all his life, baby George W. Bush plays with the dogs at Walker's Point, Kennebunkport, ME., circa Spring 1947 when he was about eight or nine months old.

Here's GWB with his beautiful collie, 11 Feb 54. "Lassie" was a big hit on TV back then, which may be why he wanted a collie. In Feb. 1954 the future president was seven years old.
