At my house, common sense was taught & learned from the time they could walk.

Same for me & my siblings.

Grandsons, same.

Can't be taught once they reach schoolage.

Today, most teachers couldn't teach it anyway, b/c they don't know how.

They have little common sense.

My grandsons attend private Christian Schools, where there is common sense.

I'm trying to figure out the tarionale around here. She is 17. That makes her a MINOR. Who is responsible for her? At what age are her parent's no longer responsible? At what age does she no longer need adult supervision? At what age does she become her own guardian?
