Some info on Hooiberg...
Hooiberg
Shaped like a haystack (Hooiberg means Mt.Haystack in Dutch), this mountain looms prominently from the middle of the island. At 541 feet, it is not the tallest mountain (Mt.Yamanota and Mt.Arikok at 617 feet and 577 feet respectively are both taller), but it is the most accessible. Climb it's 500 steps to the peak where it is possible to see across to the coast of Venezuela on a clear day.
The California Lighthouse is call the West Point by Islanders.
From the West Point of the island the trip to Venezuela by boat takes about 1 hour. If going by plane it take 15 minutes.
The gray honda belongs to the 2 brothers (for sure)
The brothers status is middle to upper class.
The brothers are considered to be drug dealers by some of the people on the island.
Joran's version of the traveling events (time line - etc) when Natalee was last seen are not geographically possible. The brother story is geographically possible. (their time line etc)
The helicopter that has the heat sensor on it is being used at night because it can pick up the heat of decomposing body that is buried in a shallow grave. The body would retain the heat that it built up during the day a the body would retain the even when it cools down at night.
The trip from the Holiday Inn to the California Lighthouse takes about 5 minutes by car. (Probably 10 minutes from the C-n-C Bar.)
All this info came from a reporter from the Dario (Aruba newspaper) who was giving an island tour to Greta.
Tomorrow I may start a new thread if someone else has not done it before then.
If you start a new thread, bring this post with you. The info in it is good. If its an hour by boat to Venezuela I would look into the blonde guy. He was from Venezeula and might have access to a boat for ease of going home to visit family. Can't think of his name right off. Jamie! Snoot called him his best friend.
