My daughter went to Hawaii for her HS grad trip. Nothing worse than a sunburn occurred and she had a terrific time, but now I feel guilty that I ever let her go.
Well I am a chicken. Since 9/11 I don't think that I would allow my daughter to travel anywhere out of the country without me and she graduated 2 years ago.

My daughter graduated years ago, but she and her husband refused to cancel their vacation trip to Hawaii two months after 911. They had a terrific time, saw the Pearl Harbor memorial and everything else. Meanwhile I sat home and cluck clucked like a big chicken til they returned.
I haven't located it yet.
