WASHINGTON (AP) -- Mike Tyson will be facing a big man when he meets Kevin McBride in a heavyweight fight Saturday night. The 6-foot-5 McBride weighed in at 271 pounds Thursday to 233 for Tyson. It was the heaviest McBride has weighed for a fight. He was 270 when he was knocked out by Davarryl Williamson in January 2002. Tyson was the same weight he was last year when Danny Williams stopped him in the fourth round. Tyson has won only one of three fights when weighing over 230 pounds.

Hit the primary link just to see the photo image. McBride is huge. But Tyson is a monster. I would have posted the picture, but I could not locate the *.jpg.

Tyson has a bad track record against fighters that outweigh him by 20+. You could never put him in the ring with the likes of a Vitali Klitschko so he is forever going to be relegated to fighting up and comers. He is still a big draw though.

I doubt MT realizes exactly who Che Guevara is. I would like to see Mike get back to the fighting form he once was. I am kind of routing for him to turn his life around since he and I are the same age.

I find myself going two ways with Tyson. On the one hand, I wish him well in getting his life in order since he has been victimized by virtually everyone who has ever worked or been around him, especially that shyster/murderer Don King, except D'amato. On the other hand he has done some evil things that are hard to forget.

As Dirty Harry once said, "you gotta know your limitations." Tyson obviously doesn't.

it really all depends on Tyson's conditioning and his knee. The real reason he lost to Danny Williams was because he blew out his knee and couldnt throw punches too well...

McBride is a bit of a slug out there. If Tyson catches him, it will be a quick fight.

I don't know, McBride looks pretty lame to me. That roll on his back tells me he's out of shape

If Tyson manages to squeak by this beer gut, I guarantee you some one will call him "Cinderella Man".

Burt Sugerman predicted it would be over between "Oh Say" and "can you see" with Tyson dispatching this guy in record time. I don't believe Tyson's handlers would put him in with any real competition at this point since their goal is another title match and the big bucks associated with that.

Stop looking at height and look at the size of their arms, look at their abs, look at the stance, This guy is dead meat. He is no more ready for Tyson than I am. At least I would go in with a baseball bat.

What part of my post didn't you understand.

I think Tyson found a easy mark to make some quick money.

If I was 15 years younger I think I could beat McBride by the way he looks in that picture

I can't wait to see this Irish lad beat the living sh$t out of the racist "f$uck you whiteboy" Mike Tyson. After seeing Tysons' racist tirade on tv a few years ago where he called everybody "white MF'er", i wished that this asshole would just disappear but the white liberal sports media loves this racist train wreck. BTW, where was the white liberal sports reporter (I forgot his name) that broke the John Rocker story? He was somehow MIA when it comes to black racism.

I would like to see Mike get back to the fighting form he once was.

When, in 1991? ....'cause that was the last time he beat a decent fighter (Razor Ruddock). Tyson is at least 15 years past his prime, and there's no coming back.
