Alfred Phillips, a gay South Florida "artist," did a portrait of President Bush being sodomized by an Arab with YOUR TAXPAYER DOLLARS! Talk about sick! This is what passes for the state of American culture: Leftist Bush-bashing and Kelly Hollowell's had it! Do you?

Phillips: ‘ America is getting screwed’
“Bush symbolizes America, and as I see it, it’s America that is getting screwed,” Phillips said about his piece. “Bush’s face looks very focused. He’s thinking only about his mission — to get oil.”

Phillips said the figures being crushed beneath the oil barrel represent American soldiers and Iraqi civilians. He added that he views Bush as a “naïve and tragic figure.”

Phillips said he specializes in landscapes and seascapes but agreed to do the Bush piece “because the theme of the show is ‘controversy.’”

“I think as an artist, I should have a voice,” Phillips said. “Art is about the only voice we have now.”

As an American, I'm outraged at this treatment of a sitting American President! I'm just livid this is happening. I know the Left hates Bush but they've really hit a bottom this time. This isn't art or even porn; this is sheer obscenity posing as "art." People should rise up to put a stop to this!

The problem is not knowing when and where these art shows and offensive works are going to be displayed (so that they can be protested) until after the deed is done.... I'm glad I wasn't walking thru the exhibit and saw rthat thing hanging there...I would have ripped it to shreds...damn the consequences!

I just sent the art guild an email protesting this display. I told them this was nothing more than sewage and that perhaps someone should bring in a bucket of raw sewage and dump it on the floor so everyone could enjoy
'art' up close and personal if they wanted.

Your red quotation line has an extra "and" in it - it'd flow better, and be an actual sentence, if you removed the "and" from before "Fox News."

The militant gays don't care about using taxpayer money against taxpayer beliefs and the Constitution--any more than gun-grabbing crooks try to grab the guns from law enforcement officers for use against the officers.
