What you do, with that attitude, is sacrifice the future liberty and prosperity of our children and grandchildren on the altar of your own self-interest. Defending industries like the auto and homebuilding industry may be in my self-interest, but I also beleive it is neccessary for the future of this county. I love this country and think overall it is the greatest country ever and will continue to be so.

I love this country and think overall it is the greatest country ever and will continue to be so. The income tax hardly qualifies as one of the things that made this country great.
And the country remains great in spite of, not because of, the Stupid Tax.
