For all you hockey fans, check out post #58 for a cool video!
I am 100% wrong IN YOUR OPINION. That doesn't make it a scientific fact. Have a nice day.
Right you are!! And what a party it will be!!
I can't wait to see these kids wearing the Orange and Black next year.
Can you spell S T A N L E Y C U P ???

No you're wrong. The only basketball commentator that doesn't think the three pointer has been a tool of destruction is Dickie V, and he's the most annoying jackass ever known to man.
And again look at the stats, since the 3 pointer:
scoring - DOWN
shot percentage - DOWN
passing - DOWN
fundamental skills - DOWN
ratings - DOWN
The facts are plainly obvious, the 3 pointer hasn't made the game more exciting, it's made the game suck.
Yeah, Eddie Shore. Toe Blake.
Carter and Richards, especially. They may be the next generation of Poulin and Propp -- maybe better. Some say Richards is another Doug Gilmour. Lofty praise. I just want the game back.
As I said, this is your opinion.
I agree. The Phantoms have a deeply talented team, and the Flyers organization was smart to concentrate on developing young talent within their own organization.
Their franchise in Trenton, N.J., won the ECHL Championship, and of course, we know about the Phantoms winning the AHL Calder Cup.
The future looks bright. Just drop the damn puck!! :-)

It is all predicated on the new CBA. We shall see how the powers-who-be sculpt the landscape and how that effects the varying teams. It probably isn't of use to discuss the "buying out of contracts" at the stage but I doubt we will see at least two veteran NHL'ers return to the Flyers for that reason alone.
"Bummer."
You are telling me. We weren't home to see the game, thank God. The Wolves Alumni played the Hawks Alumni with a few additions. Wendell Young and Darren Pang couldn't be in goal (Wendell is one of the Wolves assistants) so we got to see Al Montoya (Michigan goalie, Rangers draft pick) in a Blackhawks uniform. You better believe I took a ton of pictures cause that's probably the only time that will happen! Someone actually won his jersey in the raffle. He was fabulous and I can't wait to see him in the NHL. LOL!
Silk and O'Callahan were there from the Miracle on Ice team. Tony Granato and Doug Weight played on the Wolves Alum team.
Chelios also played on the Hawks alum team and got a huge reception. I was kind of surprised about that considering the huge chorus of BOOO's that greated him when he returned to the United Center after being traded to the wings.
It was so fun. Denis Savard got to take a penalty shot. Chelios got a hat-trick. Doug Weight had a couple of goals. Hopefully they keep the tradition going and do it for years to come.
Just a side note- they had a ton of silent auction items including an autographed, game worn Tony Amonte jersey! The price was out of my range, but I did stand there for a while trying to figure out how I could afford it. LOL
Whatever. I don't care to discuss it any further.
I've seen that Hisey video before. As a defensman, I can tell you that any forward who puts his head down that long would would be picking his teeth out of his a$$ if he tried a move like that during a game!
Also, as the father of a goalie, I am all for the removal of the goalie interference call when they leave the crease. They leave the crease, they're just like any other player.
LMAO!!
