Making snide remarks like Maher is doing doesn't come close to what Fonda did.

Maher is a POS. He hasn't gone to a terrorist camp and toyed with equipment used to kill U.S. servicemen because he hasn't that nads to do it.
His opinions on Christianity and our nations ability to take on the enemy on their soil and not ours, has left me no choice but to tune out his show. It's an embarrassment for any conservative to make an appearance on the show, but that doesn't seem to stop them.
Conservatives out there, please refrain from giving people like Bill Maher any credibility. Stay off his show. Don't show up on Al Franken. Don't give these idiots the time of day.
Let them stew with their own kind on the air, and let them get even more radical so they turn more people off.

Bill Maher could not do a better job if he was working for the Republican party! Watching braindead liberals air their juvenile opinions show them for what they are. I enjoy watching his show and laughing at celebrities making fools of themselves.

I also enjoy whatching Maher from time to time. He sometimes make good points and I find myself laughing occasionally too. Often though he is just way over the top and it just pisses me off. In any event I don't think he is traitor on the same scale as Jane was.

The difference is Fonda is a heterosexual!

I am surprised the NAACP isn't on Maher's case for mistreating black women ....guess it doesn't count when the perp is a mouthy TV lib pundit

Is that what he is supposed to be..? Yuck yuck. I'm' dumping HBO because of him, as I think he is a treasonous pig.

Unlike somewhat entertaining libs, like Jon Stewart, Maher is a washed up, UNFUNNY, harsh and bitter loser. It's shock that HBO even keeps the show; I can't imagine many people watch.

The difference is Fonda is a heterosexual! She was also physically attractive, although ugly on the inside. Maher is ugly as can be in all ways.

I also enjoy whatching Maher from time to time. . . . Often though he is just way over the top and it just pisses me off.Ditto.
But, I've pretty much stopped watching Maher. When he was on network he seemed to offer some kind of balance and self-restraint. All that is gone on his HBO mockery.
A guest like conservative editor William Crystal gets pitted against two loonies who spend the segment badgering and insulting him. Crystal, and others, are not about to stoop to the same low humor, so it gets rather uncomfortable to watch.

I agree. I used to like Jon Stewart but now I wouldn't give his show the time of day either.

I know someone who saw Maher perform his Stand Up act and said he was horrible. He relied on cue cards. Guess all those drugs must have shot his memory to hell.

Resolved:
THEY get Bill Maher;
WE get Dennis Miller.
I'll take THAT deal. At least Miller actually IS partially libertarian, which Maher (hilariously) purports to be.

What Maher needs most is a 10 week course at Paris Island.
