A third disputed Bush judicial nominee confirmed
By Thomas Ferraro Reuters Thursday, June 9, 2005; 5:24 PM
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The final one of President Bush's three most contentious judicial nominees won Senate confirmation on Thursday under a bipartisan deal designed largely to prepare for his first nomination to the Supreme Court.
On a largely party-line vote of 53-45, the Republican-led Senate approved former Alabama Attorney General William Pryor for a lifetime seat on the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Bush last year put Pryor on the Atlanta-based court with a disputed recess appointment set to expire at the end of this year.
During a fiery Senate debate, Democrats portrayed Pryor as a right-wing extremist and an outspoken critic of abortion rights, who once belittled members of the high court as "nine octogenarians who happen to sit on the Supreme Court."
"His views on a wide range of vital issues are far outside the mainstream of legal thought," said Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid of Nevada.

I can't wait to see what their reactions will be when the Supreme Court is tilted towards being Conservative after 2 or 3 of Bush's nominees gets confirmed to the Supreme Court.

Those same moonbats have this poll over at the DU.
Poll question: Is Bush's Presidency legitimate? Yep, they voted NO, he stole this one too. And get this, they think Al Gore would be a great candidate for 2008. No wonder we call them dummies...

Yeah, now I want Brett Kavanaugh. Let's see the Rats try and make working for Ken Starr an "extraordinary" circumstance. He needs to be our "test case" for DeWine and Lindsey McCain Graham.

The Rats say Brett Kavanaugh is unfit to be a judge since he allegedly leaked info about the Starr investigation to the press... of course, they also say Felt is a national hero for having done the same thing. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

In addition to being hypocrites, they are also liars. They have NO PROOF Kavanaugh leaked anything because he did not. That won't stop them of course but I'd love to see them try. Bring it on!!

What do you think of Salazar voting FOR Pryor today? I think this may be a good sign for when a controversial SCOTUS nominee is up for confirmation. While we all wished that Coors had won th race back in November, perhaps we should all thank Salazar for his vote, and encourage him to vote for the President's nominees in the future.
