Except, of course, that depending on the king, the European monarch may have a strong affect on this country, be it in having to except the Magna Carta or financing an expedition of an explorer named Columbus, whereas most of African history had less so, save for Egyptian influence by way of ancient Greece and Rome or the tribal traditions of slaves that evolved into popular culture such as Jazz.

Which is why I wrote about kings with no appreciable effect on this country. I studied lots of them in high school. I love history, so I found it quite interesting, but as I said, if you're going to do that, might as well tell me about some other cool people and places. Basically, we didn't study anything but American and European history, the rest of the world was left out.
