Yesterday, several GOP senators, notably Allen, said that they were strongly in favor of pushing ahead with all nominations, to force the Dems to decide if they want to filabuster, and then to go ahead with the nuclear option before a Supreme Court nominee comes up.I'm startin' to like this Allen guy. :)

Yes, Allen has the potential to be the Senate version of DeLay, just without the ethical baggage.

Me too! To date, he has impressed me no end, and while it is early for 2008 picks, it is not THAT early (if you know what I mean!)
