Second the immunization for pertussis wans as you age, and it's not given to adults. Well you can get it as a "tetanus" shot. DPT (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus). Whether it does a lick of good for pertussis prevention to an adult, I dunno.

Nope. DPT is not given after the age of 7. Adults get dT, which is Diptheria and Tetenus, NOT the pertussis vaccine.
