"Hispanic Growth Surge Fueled by Births in U.S."

You've got that right.

They are mostly Catholic.

No birth control and no abortion.

Here in Rockville Maryland it seems that all Caucasian have a substitute; it seems that all have at the least 1 cat and often it has undergone surgery.

So this segment is 14 percent of the population but is generating 49 percent of the growth.

We are backing into the third world unless we come up with some very creative solutions.

In 15 years it will be "Where you gonna run, gringo?"

==================================

Hispanics accounted for about half the growth in the U.S. population since 2000, according to a Census Bureau report to be released today that indicates the nation's largest minority group is increasing its presence even faster than in the previous decade. In another contrast to the 1990s, births have overtaken immigration this decade as the largest source of Hispanic growth.

Hispanic voting power also is lessened because millions of them are illegal immigrants.

Ya think? Is this article suggesting the illegal invaders should get to vote?

I don't have a problem with anyone having as many kids as they themselves can afford without taking someone else's money to pay for the kids. BUT, as this article points out, typically the hispanics are at the lower income levels of society. Therefore, this is irresponsible behavior on the part of those who expect us to pay for their offspring. And lower income children don't typically do very well in school either, so this sets up a cycle that will only hurt the country in the long run. (nothing racist about it - the facts are what matters)

TRANSLATION: your property taxes are going through the roof to pay for the illegal alien children's ability to attend school.

[[It's going to have profound effects on America. They are no longer regionally concentrated in places like California and New York," said Harry P. Pachon, president of the Tomas Rivera Policy Institute, a California think tank.]]

They are not concentrated yet UNTIL they are all called home to Aztlan (the American southwest)to succeed from the union. Once the Mexican population physically shifts to the border states that they refer to as Aztlan, then their mission is complete. Goodbye southwest USA.

They will have a profound affect on the US....see V.D. Hanson's essays on this topic. The publishing world has been trying for years to get Hispanics to read more, and the promotion of Jennifer Lopez to superstardom was manufactured in the hopes Hispanic dollars would be spent on movies, dvds' cd's whatever. Big business wants their dollars, and we will continue to be flooded with Hispanic stars of whatever medium.

The new census figures paint a portrait of a Hispanic population dominated by the young: Half are under age 27.

That's characteristic of developing societies, not advanced societies.

Maybe the law granting automatic citizenship on US soil needs to be changed.
