There is only one thing I want to hear G.W. say and that is he is sealing the borders and ordering I.C.E. to hunt-down the illegals that are already here.
If he doesn't do that it's worthless.

I don't know how clarifying "amnesty" is going to do him much good.

Frankly, at this point... when it comes to immigration and border control, I don't trust him any more than I would trust Bill Clinton.

The immigration thing has gotten to the point of being inexplicable. The U.S.A. is Vincente Fox's Mexican welfare program.

Breaking non-story.
"Asked about DeLay's comments, White House spokesman Taylor Gross said are no updates to Bush's immigration principles."
Much ado about nothing.

If I hadn't read the headline, I would have assumed this was an attempt to further muddle his immigration stance and try to play both sides of the fence. I pray that we find a candidate in 2008 who will enforce our immigration laws. We have already absorbed more Third World castoffs than we can afford. If something isn't done soon we will be overrun, resulting in massive economic and cultural degeneration.

In a meeting with members of Congress, President Bush said he needs to do a better job explaining his position on immigration changes, House Majority Leader Tom Delay said Wednesday. Translation: I'm going to try to spin some more lies so people won't be so pissed off about my open borders policy, but I will do nothing to stem the invasion.

"I think the American people understand that the president is going to continue to make America a safer place," Gross said.
The only question is for whom? Certainly not for citizens.
The bottom line of the article shows this to be nothing more than paying lip service to McLame's amnesty purchase plan. (Treasonous out of touch ______s.) So much for the popularity increase.

Yawn...
A shame... President Bush, through inaction, is actually encouraging the Criminal Aliens.
They are ruining our country.
That President Bush either can't see this or doesn't care is stunning.
Watch The Hildabeaste on this. She knows she can pick up plenty of right-leaning votes by seeming to be tough on Criminal Aliens (note I did not write, "being tough" :)

"He admitted he hasn't done a very good job in being clear to the American people where he's coming from, and he's going to try to do better," Mr. President, please clarity the amnesty program that isn't really an amnesty program for me, sir? Of course, English being my second language, I could be mistaken, but so far, it sure sounds like you want to provide a super highway for illegals to become legal here no matter what you call it.
As an immigrant who went through the legal process to become a citizen of this great country, I RESENT your proposal DEEPLY, sir.

He admitted he hasn't done a very good job in being clear to the American people where he's coming from, and he's going to try to do better," said Delay, who attended the White House session where the president discussed his legislative agenda.Oh, I think he's made it perfectly clear where he's coming from. "He's going to TRY to do better?" Now, that's a big joke. He's had 4 years to get it right. He's on a mission to destroy America with his open borders, global mentality, and he's doing a darn good job of it.

Why not find out what our wishes are, or put our wishes to a vote rather than you tell us what your policy is, Mr. President?

His do nothing policy is coming back to bite him and his Illegal-Immigrant supporters in the arse. Poll after Poll shows Americans are fed up with his Idiocy. That and the fact that their inaction is causing the death and rape of American Children and Mothers. To say nothing of the Barbaric tactics M13 uses in this country(Beheadings and such).
Know this well, the people who come to these forums and espouse their Pro-Illegal(amnesty) views are traitors and have the blood of Americans on their hands.

Here's to the many knowledgeable FReepers no longer posting over GWB's "un-clear" position on (illegal) immigration.

The immigrant invasion has degraded the glories of US democracy, and exploited our precious freedoms for fraudulent personal gain.
The latest outrage is foreigners renting out their SS numbers so their compadres can fraudulently collect tax-paid benefits.
It's enormously revealing, and indicative of the problem we're up against, that Americans are bashed and belittled for simply defending their country.
We, the people---the taxpayers---are continually ignored b/c we want it stopped and criminals prosectued.
Let us not forget that America is a democracy, governed by a Constitution. and that every American worth his/her salt comes to the aid of their country when it is under attack.
We cannot tolerate self-appointed tribal supra-governments, run by self-important dictators undermining democracy, decreeing what Americans can think, or speak.
What these foreigners need to do is seek professional help for their self-esteem problems, rather than getting ego gratification by beating up on, and ripping off, Americans.
