Cheney/Rice!
Frist has no chance whatsoever.
Allen.
NOT Newt!
This Iowan is seriously looking at Allen and other conservatives are, as well.
I've no clue who'll run for President, but there is little doubt that Condoleeza Rice will be the VP candidate.
Cheney/Rice!
-----
Just maybe, if Cheney's health was not an issue. But it apparently is a BIG issue. It would be if it were my heart.
Tancredo/Sensenbrenner (both Republicans)... the only two politicians on either side that have expressed a desire to tackle illegal immigration.
There is a standing curse on senators. [Hopefully the hex will kill hillary].
I think Newt & Owens have too many female skeletons in their closets (oh wait...so does Hillary) which is unfortnate because I like Newt. The other guys you mentioned I don't know anything about. I'm a Tancredo girl, but I don't think he has a snowballs chance unless another 9/11 happens (God forbid!)
I'm glad you posted this because I'm sick to death of hearing Hillary's name as the 2008 great white (sorry Dr. Dean) hope .
Condoleezza Rice
He certainly does if he successfully wins the Supreme Court battles.
Ditto your #4 post. I have followed Frist for sometime now. But his performance of late has been abysmal...Allen works for me.
Allen/Rice or Allen/Blackwell
He has been outstanding in the Bolton hearings/debate and also the filibuster stuff.
I'd go for Allen or Pawlenty myself.
Formatting for clarity:
Sen. Allen - the front-runner
Sen. Brownback - Probably running for VP
Sen. Thune - His name has been thrown around as a serious "sleeper" candidate in 2008
Gov. Pawlenty - Popular Conservative Gov. could give the GOP the great lakes states
Gov. Sanford Gov. Bush (won't run)
Gov. Owens (if marriage is fixed)
Newt Gingrich
Even more formatting for still more clarity:
Sen. Allen - the front-runner
Sen. Brownback - Probably running for VP
Sen. Thune - His name has been thrown around as a serious "sleeper" candidate in 2008
Gov. Pawlenty - Popular Conservative Gov. could give the GOP the great lakes states
Gov. Sanford
Gov. Bush (won't run)
Gov. Owens (if marriage is fixed)
Newt Gingrich
How about Cheney/Gingrich
