Um. Years ago, I went to use my GI benefits for college; came registration day, no money. Turned out the VA had turned down my application because the local VA office had asked for the wrong paperwork. Of course, it took a week to find this out while also trying to keep up with the schoolwork (call the VA and live on hold), and when I
did find out, the VA's attitude was "So whatta ya expect
us to do?"
So maybe they're still playing the same games and some of these guys just got sick of it?
