You'd be surprised at how many Cuban political refugees we could fit in there!

Has the Guinness Book of World Records been notified?

Thanks for that article. I'm glad to see that they finally made it to America, and were allowed to stay this time. IF anyone ever deserved to be allowed to stay in America this family did. God Bless them, for their determination and for their love of America.

I bet an interior shot would show some nice tuck and roll upholstery.

Now you're talking!

I was so inspired by the creativity and persistence of these Cuban guys (particularly the first guy, Luis Grass, who finally made it to the U.S. just a couple months ago) that I made a website about them:

http://www.floatingcubans.com/

The website has photos plus links to news articles, etc. that have all the stories, including the incredible journey Luis Grass and his family took overland to finally reach U.S. soil.

For the record, I'm a liberal, not a big fan of Bush (sadly, been pretty ashamed of the last two Democratic sad sack candidates, too, sigh), and generally I disagree with a lot of stuff on this website. So I'm happy to see at least one thing I think I can agree with y'all about:

I'm glad I live in a country that's so great, people go to incredible lengths to get here. These folks are great examples of how badly many people want the opportunity that the U.S. represents. I'm surprised and a bit disappointed we couldn't preserve the vessels they made as a symbol of that.
