I believe in predestination and God's foreknowledge
but I DO NOT believe Jesus died only for the elect.
He died so that every person COULD be saved. To believe that you are so special as to be in that select group is the height of arrogance.

So, you believe that instead of dying as a ransom payment for sin, Jesus just died to make salvation possible? He died to just possibly save somebody, not to actually accomplish it and truly be able to say "it is finished" on that Cross?

Calvinism is not arrogant. On the contrary, if you believe in the doctrines of grace is is humbling because there is NOTHING in me worthy of any grace at all, but yet he gives it to me.

wow.

Look into foreknowledge. It is tied to God's decrees. It is not simply knowing beforehand.
