I was fortunate to have had a good wife – she would always leave the lid up when she was done.
I grew up with 4 brothers, no sisters ... Mom lost that battle.
Early on in my 26 year (so far) marriage I had to ask myself "is this a ditch I want to die in?" I've been putting the seat back down ever since.
