How big is Lodi, population-wise? Do you have a university/college there?

Lodi is around 60,000 in population. We do not have a university in town. We are a bedroom community for Stockton.

Lodi is the farthest North town in San Joaquin county, just south of the Sacramento county line.

It is a town populated in the beginning by Germans who migrated here from North Dakota. However in the last few years there has been a noticeable increase in Mexican and Islamic citizens. I find it hard to believe given the limits of legal immigration in this country, that so many legal immigrants would get off the boat (scurry across the border) and head for Lodi. The problem is massive in California and this is just a symptom.
