The U.S. has given the leader of Pakiland a pass for now. Musharraf is walking a tight rope in very high winds. His military is dominated by men who openly side with Bin Laden. Many are very outspoken about their support of al Qaeda and the Taliban. But that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Pakistan also has three specially built stealth submarines carrying eighteen nuke tipped cruise missiles. These new subs are so sophisticated that they cannot be detected by our best technology. Two were built by the French. The third is being completed now in Pakistan under license from the French. Which means the Pakis have the technology.

What happens if Musharraf is assassinated? Or thrown out of office by a military coup? What happens if the hard line pro-Taliban powers get control of these new subs and their nuke tipped cruise missiles?

KAAABOOOMB ! merely possible or probable?

You aren't actually suggesting that world's only superpower doesn't have the guts to do the right thing are you?

Meanwhile, Bush ponders which pissant, non-threatening country in the ME to invade next while bin Laden and his minions sit comfortably in Pakistan?

And we actually wonder why others countries in the region rush to arm themselves?
