Since leaving SoCal, I've lived in NoCal, Florida, N. Idaho and WA state, where I'm freezing today and most days. My adult kids are here in the Pacific NW, but I don't like it much.

I'm really curious about the Carolina coast, but have never been there. The area from ....hmmmm....maybe Virginia Beach down through Jacksonville intrigues. Ideally, I'll find a place that has a college or university, live theater and classical music, as I make a living teaching actors and musicians--and people with bad backs--how to move well. It's great for senior citizens too but the artsy crowd already knows about it, so it's easier to establiswh a teaching practice where they live.

I love being on the coast. Any coast. So any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I agree. I don't want to live in a landlocked state. I like deep sea and salt water fishing once in a while, and not only that, living near the coast give you that coastal weather influence, which is a good thing in some places.

And no, I am keeping the place I will eventually go to secret. :)
