If the Rats and Rinos want never ending debates then give it to them. Lock the Senate doors, 1 potty break every 8 hours, verbal roll call every 2 hours, debate must be continual with no more than 1 minute between speakers or the party gets one member censored for every violation, a cloture vote will occur every 12 hours and finally when the party gives up the original Nays on cloture must walk the Senate floor with a white flag.

It is time for the president to play hardball. The senators have no right to the requested material. As far as I understand, it would be illegal for them to have it.

Now, it is time to say we will provide no funding to the UN or any of its organizations until Bolton is in place (and then cut that funding by half).

Fine. Lose Bolton and find someone meaner who carries an even bigger stick. And let the Dems twist in the wind.

@ssholes. Quit wasting my tax dollars.

The Dems don't just have the votes, they have the FBI files on the Republicans. If they the GOP Senators do not go along, their files get splashed the same way Henry Hyde's file did during the impeachment hearings.

All incumbant GOP Senators need to be voted out during the primaries so the DEMs can not blackmail them.

Via email and edited, (someone has to monitor the enemy)...

June 7, 2005

(Code Pink)

Dear XXXXXXXXXX,

You've read the Downing Street memo. If not, please read it. It will make your blood boil to see how the Bush administration was determined to invade Iraq and fix the facts and intelligence to justify the invasion. (click here to read the memo). This memo proves what we in the peace movement have been saying all along the war was based on lies. Please sign Congressman John Conyers petition asking George Bush for answers about critical questions raised by the Downing Street memo. We will be doing more work on this memo in the weeks to come, so stay tuned.

One person intimately involved in the manipulation of facts and intelligence to support the attack on Iraq is John Bolton, the Bush administration's pick for US ambassador to the United Nations. In 2002, Bolton orchestrated the firing of Jose Bustani, then Director-General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), precisely because Bustani was getting Saddam Hussein to sign on to the international chemical weapons convention, a move that would have significantly undermined the US pretext for a pre-emptive strike on Iraq (see Common Dreams for the full article). What is also tragic about Bustani's firing is that he had been credited with overseeing the destruction of 2 million chemical weapons and two-thirds of the world's chemical weapons facilities; and the number of countries to sign on to the chemical weapons ban treaty under Bustani's tenure had risen from 87 to 145.

The Democrat's have made a valiant effort to delay the Senate vote on John Bolton as UN Ambassador in order to buy more time to expose how inappropriate Bolton is for this post. There is a strong possibility, however, that the Senate will vote on his confirmation sometime this week, perhaps as early as Thursday.

So let's make one last push to stop Bolton and keep him from manipulating us into another invasion! Let's make Bolton the defeat that spells the beginning of the end for the Bush White House's radical-right policies.

Your Senators need one more prompt from you to do the right thing and vote against John Bolton, the anti-diplomat. Please call or send them an email TODAY!

Thank you for your help in defeating Bolton and exposing the lies of the Bush Administration.

In peace,

Dana, Farida, Gael, Jodie, Medea, Nancy, Rae, and Tiffany

The Bush needs to make the case more clearly as to why it will not provide the information. There should be more talk about Jay Rockefeller who saw the infomation, and said nothing was there as I understand it. Ultimately, the Bush administration will need to round up the votes on cloture, through this tactic or some other, and give up on the nomination. If you don't have the votes, you don't have the votes. Nobody is talking about the nuke option for non-judicial nominees. That is not in play, and won't be.

Let the counting begin, so we conservatives can separate the real liberals from the RINO Moderates.

I still say there is something Bolton knows concerning the State Dept. or someone in the State Dept. More importantly, there is something Bolton knows (possibly traitors/moles?)that the dems and some RINO's are extreemly scared of. I say, let it out.

Washington DC is a circus and the politicians are circus clowns, posturing and playing to their audience. The really bad part, IMO, is that WE PAY FOR IT!!!!!!!
