To the liberal mind, minorities need religion because they aren't quite civilized enough to be true secualr humanists like the white liberal is. And that's okay. It's even kind of adorable, in it's own little way.
But whites being religious, that's...unnatural. It's a throwback. Whites are supposed to be beyond this religious nonsense.
It's embarrassing, like seeing your grandfather come out wearing only his underwear in front of your friends. Or worse, a leisure suit.

There's a democrat party big shot who lives down the street from me. He has a "God is Just Pretend" bumper sticker. Everytime I drive by his car I have this urge to get out and key it.
