Abercrombie and Fitch and its subsidiary Hollister have shown an unusual degree of anatagonism to the name of Christ and an unusual display of wickedness in their promotions.

In protest, we will not allow articles of clothing displaying their logos to we worn, carried or displayed. (even if covered or masked in some way)

Not to dispute what tier Bob JOnes U. is in...however...it should be noted, and this is truly objective, that this school has the finest collection of religious/Christian art in the country.

Go talk to any homo, atheist, socialist curator at your local museum of fine arts. If he/she knows or cares about religious art, he will perhaps begrudgingly confirm this.

Just interjecting that to make things interesting.

You're saying that I'm purposefully saying a lie is a truth ..??

YOU'RE WAY OUT OF LINE. And .. who are YOU to tell me what I can or cannot say - or what I can or cannot believe .. because you read something on some internet site ..??

Good grief!

"The #1 stumbling block standing in the way of both Liz Claiborne rumors is Liz's retirement from the company in 1989"

from a site that discusses these things.

I'm basing my comments on first-hand knowledge. I was home sick one day and was watching Oprah. Her guest was Liz Claibourne - showing her latest collection (or whatever). Oprah began the show by asking Liz a few questions; one of which was, "what do you do with your money"? Liz spoke right up and said she supported the Church of Satan. Oprah was STUNNED! She looked into the camera - pointed her finger at it and said very strongly - we'll be right back in a minute - and they cut immediately to commercial. They ran several commercials. All of sudden, Oprah came back out - said, "I apologize, I had no idea about this and we will not be showing any collection today or any day .. I cannot in good conscience foist this on my audience."

Did you watch the whole show?
Was Liz on after the commerical break?
What was the rest of the show?
Why is there no record of this happening other than people with claims like yours?
Don't you at least find it suspicious that what you think you saw, has been hoaxed about other company heads? (that is why people keep showing you. They think if you see that this same exact claim has been made numerous times, you will realize your mistaken belief.)

I'm saying that you keep repeating something that has been shown over and over again to be a hoax.

Why should I believe your "memory" over the countless debunkings of a rumor? Do you realize that by your defense of the hoax you are calling everyone who says it isn't true a liar?

Excuse me .. if you read on "Snopes" that Jesus was a fake - would you be gullible enough to believe it ..??

I know what I saw and I know what I believe - AND I DON'T GIVE A STINKING RIP IF NOBODY ELSE IN THE WHOLE WORLD AGREES WITH ME.

This is our basic difference. I don't go along to get along - and I'm more than willing to allow people to believe whatever they choose - contrary to you.

I never said Liz was a member of the church of satan

From your post #35 on this thread:

The reason Bob Jones U. did this is the same reason that I don't purchase Liz Clairborne clothing .. Liz supports the church of Satan. I don't care to help her support that kind of evil.

~snip~

I'll suppose you will parse out how you first said she "supports" and didn't say "she's a member", but the implication remains the same.

You stated it as fact without any qualifiers about "she says".

The above stories have all been widely circulated. None of those stories is true — this in spite of the fact that you and I both know people who will swear on the Family Bible, while standing on their grandmother's grave, that they saw the program with their own two eyes. I have already received three forwarded emails about the July 19th "show", screaming, "It's Real!"

Nah, I can't even imagine.

I have said from the beginning .. people can believe what they want to believe .. obviously that courtest has not been extended to me because I don't agree with what you believe.

Too bad!

It is not a question of faith, this is provable fact.

You cannot believe away the truth.

"provable fact"

A WEB SITE IS PROVABLE FACT .. don't take that into court - the judge will throw you out.

The only person I freepmailed was you, yesterday, politely suggesting that you rethink your position. Suggesting it was not a purposeful lie, but rather a mistaken belief. You mocked that suggestion.

Your paranioa that I would need to get buddies to pile on is, in an of itself, odd. Do you think we put up all those sites to make you look silly too?
