yes JoKe signed the 180.
I also signed a check for one hundred billion dollars for the Hitlery 08 campaign.
(Neither one of us actually will ever turn it in though.)

If his discharge papers from 1972 aren't in there, then this is NOT a complete release of his records.

Kranish just gave it a pass... that is... if he's even seen all the information. He's a tenured, Kerry rumpswab. If Kerry DID sign the form, all the information will become available.

Asked why he delayed signing the form for so long, Kerry said in a written response: ''The call for me to sign a 180 form came from the same partisan operatives who were lying about my record on a daily basis on the Web and in the right-wing media. Even though the media was discrediting them, they continued to lie. I felt strongly that we shouldn't kowtow to them and their attempts to drag their lies out." I call total BS on that. I don't think there's any way he wouldn't have released this during the campaign if he knew it didn't have any bad news in it. This creep would have done whatever it took to win. I'll bet all the papers aren't in there and he knows it.
The questions are:
1. What's missing?
2. Where did it go?
3. Who took it?

Kerry and Bush both went on to be accepted to highly competitive graduate programs with "C" averages. How many more worthy kids were rejected because the spoiled rich kids got in? Legacy admissions are worse than affirmative action because it is affirmative action for people who don't need the degrees anyway.

This issue requires a deeper look at not only Kerry but Kranish himself. Last year Kranish and the Boston Globe explained that Kranish assisted with writing Kerry's autobiography but it was on his own and in no relations with the BG. Now the CYA begins. Kranish knows that there is further information that would bring question to his "autobiography" and discredit the BG further if found out. Kranish begins to sugar-coat the records with some crap about "why did it take so long" with nothing new because Kerry is about to bring up some "impeachable" memo to the Congressional floor for consideration. Once he does this all yells will be for Kerry's SF-180 but he now says the BG has them and has already reported on it, partially satisfying some critics and for the BG, Kranish and Kerry's sake enough to weasel the issue any farther even though there are more documents that ruin them all.

If I read this story correctly, kerry signed a form 180 with limitations. All the records were released to one of his pet monkeys from the Boston Globe, the New York Times's leftmost subsidiary.
In other words, the records are still not public. They are still being carefully weeded out by his flunkies. The navy may have released all the records to his flunky, but his flunky has not released all the records to the public.
So this is meaningless.

It did, however, contain Kerry's academic record from his four years in college This is actually a pretty plausible excuse for not releasing these records earlier.
To: Sir Gawain
it should be easy to prove... before the election the Navy said there were about 100 pages of his record withheld from public view, so... the NEW record should have about 100 pages MORE than the previous release, right???

"Did Kerry Turn Over Full File to Globe" Wrong headline and wrong question. The Navy turned over the file to the Globe based on an existing FOIA request and Kerry's signed SF-180. The second paragraph of the Globe article states exactly that.
The records, which the Navy Personnel Command provided to the Globe, are mostly a duplication of what Kerry released during his 2004 campaign for president, including numerous commendations from commanding officers who later criticized Kerry's Vietnam service.
I don't trust the Globe's, especially Kranish's, analysis. I want to see Kerry's signed SF-180 to see what restrictions or limitations were placed on the authorization. I want to see all the info supporting his first PH. Once the SBVFT get these records, we will have a far better analysis of what is in them. Until then, I take the Globe's analysis with a grain of salt.

Did he turn over whole file?
No.
(But, then, that HAD to be a rhetorical question.)
