I read an article a few years ago, I do not remember the medical magizine it was in, that showed that lesbians had a higher rate of HPV (Human Papilloma Virus)

"Women who engage in receptive anal sex" are generally not lesbians.....

I haven't any reason to dispute that rates of breast cancer and ovarian/cervical cancer may be higher amongst lesbians than straight women, but it's hard to envision that they could be so much higher as to bring their life expectancy into line with that of gay men (who have a much, much higher incidence of AIDS than straight men).

This is even more the case when considering that women have a notably higher life expectancy than men anyhow, and so it would take a relatively greater drop to bring lesbians in line with gay men.
